Lincoln commented on Spencer's accuracy with the rife and how Spencer out shot Lincoln....Spencer replied how he should have been the best shot ...as he built the weapon ...probably one of the most influential turning points of the war.. VERY NICE VIDEO!

I knew the story of Lincoln shooting the Spencer but having the actual target is amazing. BTW, 2 of my ancestors served in the 52nd Illinois Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War.
