I can look at any spot and tell you if a vehicle will fit in it and then first try reverse park the vehicle in it. I used this skill when I worked at a dealership and would have to fold down the back seats and open the trunk and climb out that way or climb out of the sun roof after I parked. Folded mirrors on both cars there would be no room whatsoever to open the door even a half inch.

Actually this is pretty easy if u think about it. If u can visualize your thumb nail to the first knuckle of your thumb on the paper, that's around 2.5 to 2.7 cm. He already has a bonus because most of the time, he has his thumb on the paper and he can quickly refer to it. I'm an engineer and I always lose my meter tape thats why I always look for ways to measure stuff :). You're welcome
