this happens sometimes in me/cfs, I have experienced it a few times myself, we have no idea why it happens though, but it does feel like a sudden 'mode switch' in the immune system, usually doesn't last more than 5, 10 minutes for me, at most 30 mins, some claim to have experienced lasting remissions. One issue with these diseases is its hard to verify who actually has the disease or just something that presents in a similar way ( thats why PEM is considered gold standard ).

We suspected early on - mid-2020(?) - when covid sequelae weren't resolving and some of them felt like ME/CFS that there might be a link. Is there research into both conditions being similar or having a similar base or trigger? What good news for those of us who've been ill for possibly decades, that there might be actual research now - but how terrible for everyone who'd developed it in the last couple of years. As a long-term ME endurer and long covid - oh, too tired to think of another synonym for "combatant" here but the Merrian Webster's got my back - possibly guerilla, as in a long and sustained campaign against this bloody thing that tries to steal my life, but I've got my ways of outsmarting it, generally by allowing it to lay me out completely a couple of times a month - maybe this is a war I'm not winning quite so much as maintaining a sort of uneasy stalemate through - my heart goes out to you all, knowing what some of you will be facing in coming years, and some of you will have it worse than me. Try to stay positive: remember the things you have to be grateful for and not focus too much on what you're losing or have lost, and find things that can replace what you had in the past within your energy budget - and be well. (Sorry for the rambliness - it's been stupidly busy with my project recently and the brain is protesting against ill-usage, hence stream of conciousness word salad above. Nobody's obliged to read it and frequently KZbin comments feel like shouting into the void, so hear my words, O Void!) Time for a cuppa.

True. Though starting with treating the blood clots (with nattokinase and serrapeptase) and then focusing on healing up my endothelium was a great place to start. Secondly, a low histamine diet helps to keep symptoms under control. Thirdly, focusing on helping my mitochondria to produce energy has helped immensely. Lastly, I'm now also focusing on stopping leaky gut of the small intestine as that will keep driving the mast cell activation. However, all of the above do feel like just a (very expensive) plaster instead of the true treatment that is needed.

My daughter, 15, 4 months into a medium level case of long covid/post viral fatigue syndrome, has just stsrted a targeted protocol (ultra detailed special immune blood test first) of Micro Immunotherapy with her childrens nutritionist 3 wks ago. It seems to make sense as a therapy (reading a lot about it) and is bringing slightly quicker improvement in my daughter's symptoms than what was the case with time, rest, pacing, breathing training, certain supplements to e.g. impair viral replication and break down histamine, and a reduced histamine diet. In recent studies patients were given 3 different Anti Platelet and Anti Coagulant medications. Unfortunately to keep the Micro Clotting in check, it is taking both medications, and even with three in the trials the effectiveness was only about 48-53-% reduction in Micro Clotting. Degrading the Spike is absolutely necessary, Nattokinase, NAC, Bromelain, Glycine together have shown good results degrading the Spike. Looking closely at any areas with edema is suspect of Micro Clots especially in the lower Limbs. VWF needs to be checked, and imaging with Contrast is needed, however many of the Micro Clots are so small even imaging sometimes does not show them. Inflammation must be kept down, and the Spike which in persistent causes alot of inflammation. Degrade the Spike, maybe stop the inflammation and Micro Clotting.

@MamaRestInPeace1424
@MamaRestInPeace1424 Жыл бұрын
If you are clotting you dont want to push blood circulation. The added pressures before the clots are dissolved could be a problem such as a clot breaking free causing an Embolism. The most important thing for patients right now is to stop the clots, and dissolve the clots. The Micro Clots are very evasive even on advanced imaging. Von Willebrand Factor and D-Dimer are good for showing the patients Doctors if there is Clotting. It is also very important if you have EVER been bitten even as a young child by a Tick, doctors check you for Lyme Disease. A large number of Long Covid patients, nearing 65% are testing Positive for Lyme, and Auto Immune like Lupus, ALS, MS etc are skyrocketing in post Covid patients, and vav injured patients. All Doctors need to be looking for Latent Viral Reactivation, such as EBV, CMG, Varicella and many more. It is a fact the Spike is reactivating sleeping viruses that then wreak misery on patients. One patient last week tested Positive for EBV he had 24 years ago, his numbers were above 650 I believe Sars Cov 2 is an Auto Immune Disease, the Virus and Vax deliver the nasty payload, the Spike, and long after the infection, Viral Persistence still prevails.

After experiencing Long Covid since March 2029' I think the virus is still in my system. Then you have it constantly producing debris and on top of that you have the autoimmune response. The best treatment would be to kill the virus throughout the system because that eliminates the other two. I treat myself through a homeopath with CoQ10 and Magnesium for any heart issues, and adrenal support. I also take vitamin D, Vitamin C and high levels of Vitamin B complex daily.. I find any occurrences that takes place that uses alot of energy in a short span of time causes a flare up. It can be intense intellectual study, stressful emotions or physical exertion. I think this must be because these activities require alot of energy (and must be replenished) so it is harder for the immune system to cope. I think my body is fine except to the unwelcome guest of the virus. If it stopped causing problems, the rest would right itself. Thank you for all your efforts. I have not looked into this for many months. I am glad you are seeking answers. ❤❤❤❤

Give it a couple weeks. You will feel worse before you feel better. As the clots get broken up you have to give your body some time to clear things out. I took 2,000 ius a day, felt good first few days, then felt like I was sick for a couple weeks- but knew this was part of the process. Drink LOTS of water, as it helps the Nattokinase work better, and flush things out. Try to rest through the first couple weeks. By week 3 and 4 I had a major turn around. By 3rd month, I tapered off it completely and have had no relapse. Very important: Nattokinase must reach the digestive track, but it’s very sensitive to stomach acid. To increase the chance it will reach the digestive track mostly intact, be sure to use a good brand with enteric coated capsule, take with a full glass of water and on an empty stomach, 3hrs before or after a meal. Most people don’t realize this, and it reduces the effectiveness. Good luck.
