I always get emotional over Mufasa’s tragic departure. That, plus the “Remember Who You Are” scene hits very differently, since the voice of the character, James Earl Jones had recently passed away. He will be dearly missed, as he has left a big impact on a lot of us, with the films that he was involved in.

Even though Scar is such a slime ball, I cannot help but love his villainous character. Lacking in strength, he makes up for it with his conniving mind, which helped him succeed in overthrowing his brother, making Simba run from his responsibilities, and become king of the Pride Lands. A dastardly villain, but a great one at that.

It doesn't matter how many times I've seen this movie, the scene where Simba finds Mufasa dead in the gorge always gets me in the heart. Especially the fact that Scar gaslights Simba into thinking it was his (Simba's) fault and Johnathan Taylor Thomas' line delivery. Also, I am very glad they cast James Earl Jones as Mufasa. As much as I respect the actor, they almost cast Christopher Walken. Side note: Some of the character's names have meanings translated out of Swahili Simba: Lion Nala: Gift Mufasa: King Sarabi: Mirage Rafiki: Friend Pumbaa: Slow-Witted Zazu: Movement Shenzi: Savage Banzai: Skulk or lurk Taka (Scar's original name): Dirt or Garbage Timon (His name actually comes from Greek): Respect or Honor

This truly is the best animated movie ever made I was 9 when it came out in theaters and my parents took me to see it for my birthday and I never saw an animated movie that topped Lion King. I like scar and in nature he wouldnt be a villain it's just how nature works. I'm a wildlife vetenarian in South Africa.

The Lion King was the first animated film I saw back in 1994. This film is very special to me because of its rich history, beautiful animation, wonderful animal characters, memorable songs, and the grand, epic story. Also, TLK was the one thing that inspired me to pursue a career in animation and I’m forever grateful because of that!

Scar now has THREE backstories to how he got his scar. 1. Getting attacked by a water buffalo he challenged as a cub. 2. Getting ambushed by a king cobra. Which corrupts him from his leadership role as leader of the lion guard. 3. Not out yet (MUFASA)🤷 btw Mufasa means king and Simba means lion in Swahili

They don’t constantly eat the other animals, they only take what they need, which is exactly what the hyenas should have been satisfied with, the scraps, they even admitted that they thought that things were bad under Mufasa, but that things were even worse with Scar since they didn’t have anything left to eat because the hunting restrictions were removed

You should watch Lion King 2 Simba's Pride. I think it's a really good movie. Of course nothing can compare to this masterpiece, but i think its worth giving a chance. Also, Lion King 1 1/2 is good for a laugh if you love Timon and Pumbaa. Love your reactions. Kay, bye. 😁

All of the songs from TLK are great! My favorite of the lot is “Circle of Life” because it’s SO powerful, grand, and epic! The entire sequence, combined with the score of Hans Zimmer, the lyrics of Elton John, plus Time Rice, the amazing Lebo M. and the African vocalists, and Carmen Twillie makes the song and opening sequence one of the most iconic moments in animation history; I love it!

Plus, they were different theories about the movie the lion guard but only in that one episode that you guys have to do about just Siri and that’s why you guys should think about doing the episodes as well not just a movies I know that they made too. There is one about the tree of life and. There was the original one so that was like the second one the tree of life, but there’s just lots of different theories because of the lion King one and a half as well and the lion King two as well, but those were just more theories that people came up with because of those kinds of theories, especially theories about just Siri that she was technically a part of the hyenas in this original movie, but then she quit after like seeing the hyenas take over so much of the pride lands in this movie, but those were just more theories that people came up with because of the lion guard and the past present and future that might involve more of the other future, that includes the series, but it was kind of like a movie I guess like all four seasons I think that there was more seasons, but I’m not sure about that either but anyway, yeah, I think that there was like a lot more but anyway that’s like beyond the point as well you should also think about watching that movie seven and me that’s another good one as well because that’s like the last well series that I remember, but they did make other series. It was like a movie series but that’s like beyond the point again and I just like helping some more with other cool movies including Ben 10 in case they ever did make a movie like that, but I think that they did, but I’m not sure but I just like helping with different suggestions

This was my most favorite movie when I was little! I loved it so much I was often playing “Lion King” any chance I got and would even reenact the Circle of Life with my lion king stuffed animals 😂. I was honestly really disappointed with the live action version because it felt like a ripoff of the original 1994 film. BTW, Rafiki’s song is actually correct. He’s not a baboon, he’s a mandrill.

I haven’t even seen the lion King one in forever plus, I haven’t seen the lion King to like at all or the lion King one and a half like those are the only two movies I haven’t seen and then when I watched the live action one it wasn’t as good as like the classic one like the first and the lion guard movie plus that’s what movie you should watch next along with My Little Pony a new generation well technically it was supposed to be another live action movie. This is why they need to make better live action movies. But you should also still think about taking some of the other ideas that I’ve mentioned as well and I know that paw patrol is another good one too. As well, but I just like leaving cool comments just to try to help with more suggestion.

PS because they wanted to go hard on like the animation so it looks cooler they did that with a lot of other movies, including the tigger movie as well, not just that movie, but a bunch of other movies as well including the other one which is springtime with roo I know that was another good one too even other movies that I don’t remember other than those ones, but I think that those were pretty much the only other two that I like mainly remember and if you’re thinking about watching a Christmas movie, you should think about Beethoven’s Christmas movie and I know that they were a bunch of other Beethoven movies that you should think about watching too the one with the dog though just because Beethoven’s fifth was a little scary so it’s like a horror movie kind of but it all worked out in the end of that movie and then it was like no why and the entire time the bad guy didn’t even win even after he was trying to get a little girl killed almost but yeah, that’s another good movie and why Beethoven six I think that they made a Beethoven six I’m not sure involves that movie but I think that it’s supposed to involve that movie because they were going to try to make exactly a movie like Beethoven five but it doesn’t work out that way it kind of did most of the end though but not exactly it was like 20 times worse just a little bit I wonder if they could like remake some of these movies including Beethoven fifth
