I can't understand why so many people hate them. The Lannisters are such a fascinating family. They are not evil, at least not more than the other families. Joffrey is mad, but so are the last Targaryens. The rest is just struggling to stay alive and to keep the Lannister-clan intact. If you look beyond the fassade you can easily see all that, but seemingly a lot of people don't do that.

This is an amazing video!! You did such a great job! I LOVE all of the Lannisters (including Joffrey, sort of) and think they are definitely the best characters in the entire series. When people tell me I'm stupid/horrible for loving them, I just shake my head and roll my eyes. A lion does not concern itself with the opinions of sheep. ;) Oh and GREAT music! First Aid Kit are an awesome band and the song suits the video very well. I really enjoyed this!

I love the Lannisters so much, they are some of the best characters because everyone hates them, I love reading the books and seeing how much Jaime transforms, I can't wait to watch it in the Tv Series. Jaime doesn't see things in black or white, but a grey. He knows he's not honorable, but who is in this world? Not Ned.

She's definitely someone you love to hate. When I'd get to one of her chapters I really dread what's about to happen beforehand but she always does what you'd hardly expect, and does it in such a way that you're both impressed and disgusted at the same time.She's the most dangerous one, whatever else happens, you should always be afraid of what she'll do.

THANK YOU MissLalwen for saying this! I have been saying the same thing! How can you love Arya but HATE Cersei and Sansa? I agree, she has both of both Stark girls, I'd argue more Sansa but she does have that 'I should wear the mail' from Arya. And yes, she doesn't take pleasure with killing people, don't want to ruin books, but last books so far, she's doing that haunt her, if Arya'd been Queen she'd be crueler. I like Cersei, she's by far one of the complex and more interesting characters :)

This is the most epic video in the history of vidding! I can't imagine how much work and patience must have gone into this. The Lannisters are my favourites, too! Well except Joffrey, but I don't count him as a Lannister anyway. There's nothing interesting about Joffrey, he's just a nut, but the rest of the, their relationships, their histories, the way they interact with each other - only Jaime loves Tyrion, Tywin still wants Jaime to inherit the Rock etc. You captured all that perfectly! :D

The Lannister house is one of the most interesting ones, I agree, but then again, all the houses are extremely interesting to me. My favourite character is Tyrion, and because of that I kind of hate the Lannisters like he does. I find the Starks and Targaryens the most interesting, because they're the ones with the longest history, with the Others, the wights, and the wall in the north, and for the targaryens there's dragons, Valyria, and all the places to the east (Asshai for example).

Well I understand why people dislike them. Tywin doesn't seem exactly like a fun person to hang around. Sure you might get rich and powerful serving him but he has this cold personality. Cersei is phsycotic. But I agree there are more likeable Lannisters than there are dislikeable like Jaime, Tyrion and Kevan Lannister and Tywin abit aswell meaning hes good to follow. I don't understand though that people calls them cowards... "Evil" characters can be brave aswell

Having read the books , i'd say Tyrion Lannister is the only Lannister that is highly overrated ... By the way , i thank you for this wonderful video , the song is amazing and everything fits so well together , i love it ! Yes Joffery killed the bastard children, I have since found that out, But you can not be stupid enough to think joffery hired an assassin to kill Bran, or that Lysa killed Joh Arryn, those were both the deeds of Jaime and Cersei. Hmm, actually as far as I remember Arya has had only one moment of murdering madness... after her brother and mother were killed and mocked. In that case a lot of the favorite characters are psychotic... think of how Tyrion bashed a man's face with a shield or how Daenerys emptily watched her brother die and burned several people. Or Jaime needlessly killing the Stark men in Kings Landing. Not to mention Boltons, Walder Frey, both Cleganes, Joffrey, etc... That's just how that world is.
