Pretty sure Anguilla is zero PIT but you need to live there and have PR or BOTC status to do that. The lump sum is only for those wanting a quick 'in' to the tax system. Also, odd you didn't mention Vanuatu - its zero PIT & CIT.

Any thoughts on what will happen with the TCJA renewal come 2025? Trump has talked about removing citizenship based taxation; I think at minimum we could see the removal of GILTI and an increased FEIE. Also, would be curious if you can make a video on how tax planning is done when one spouse is a US persons and the other is not to remove tax liability on GILTI and capital gains & dividends on passive sources.

But you can be tax resident in one country say uae and then live in other countrys thrue out the year like Spain and Sweden but not pay taxes in those countrys ?
@OffshoreCitizen2 ай бұрын
This can get a little tricky, and comes down to how countries define “tax residency”. Generally you will need to spend 6 (or more) months per year in a low tax country and would need to establish “center of vital interests” there. Then you could spend some time in a country B and be safe. But again, this will really depend on the country or countries in question, so you need to look at their rules specifically.

@@Johndoe-qn9jr Not an expert, but looks like you'll be paying large tax bill somewhere with that split. If you are in a position to look at split year living (for weather and taxes) I'd look at a 7/5 split with the seven being in a low/no tax jurisdiction for tax residency (pay attention for any rules specific to forex). You could conceivably eliminate the worst of Swedish winters and the worst of the your 2nd homes tropical summers. 60's-70's year around with much lower tax bill.

Given the persisting global economic crisis, it's essential for individuals to focus on diversifying their income streams independent of governmental reliance. This involves exploring options such as stocks, gold, silver, and digital currencies. Despite the adversity in the economy, now is an opportune moment to contemplate these investment avenues.

Question are you American? If so everything below 35% has no meaning on personal income it's just an offset. If your speaking about Corporate Tax you usually double taxed if you do business in America and your ideal destination. Not to mention the filings for over a certain percentage of an offshore company usually 7% or more. No where to hide. You income tax is the same no matter where you live and just more tax forms and headaches as an American under FACTA.
