I remember when my grandfather rented this dvd and I remember enjoying it a lot as a kid. But as an adult, this has definitely aged terribly. I enjoy it more ironically than genuinely and the only good thing about this film is that it makes the original Pixar film leagues better.

Not so much just him (Mike Pollack) as it is many of the non-union voice actors from the L.A area that tend to wind up in low budget productions like this. That and i'm sure Video Brinquedo also realizes that outsourcing the work to LA recording studios probably makes their productions feel more legit than they really are, too. All in all, the reason is just more or less that the majority of VA's tend to be from LA, or move to LA to be around where most of the recording studios are, and also that they're pretty much required to take regular jobs in everything from high profile roles, to TV and radio commercials and even crap like Video Brinquedo to consistently put food on the table and also build a resume. Even if being cast in low budget turds like this may not seem like it, any steady work and any role one can slap on a resume, helps, when you're freelance, non-union and living from paycheck to paycheck in order to make a living. To us, it may seem like things like The Little Cars 2 may be the absolute bottom barrel crap, but to VA's in the industry, steady work and a decent check is where you can find it. At the end of the day, even if direct-to-DVD farces like this may suck seven ways from Sunday, I still at least respect that these actors are able to find regular work, as well as have to pay their dues on third rate productions made by the "brilliant" minds behind Ratatoing, so at least there's that.

ᵗʰᵉNight★Star To be honest, if I had to feel a little irritated with any cast member having to do this, it would be one of my favorite VA's of all, Lisa Ortiz, who I have positively adored and been a big fan of for years, going from her work which I was first acquainted with, by way of voicing my absolute favorite female protagonist in anime history, Lina Inverse from Slayers, as well as her many other high profile roles, all the way down to having to try and manage some kind of performance out of this insultingly obligatory pink-girl-car with utterly zero personality. Now THAT just plain comes close to making me legitimately sad. -_-
