OMG, it was so breaking my heart seeing the cute baby pine for you so sadly. It's a good sign that she can engage with Soni came along because it would be a shame if she only depended on you. It's good she likes Soni enough to play and get distracted. You need to go out a bit more but ensure another cat is there with her always. But allow her to realise that you will always come back. After a little while you could extend the time. If you were to tell her "I'm going out now but I'm coming back" and use the same words, I bet she would grow to understand what those words mean but you would have to be consistent and say the same words every time you go out and perhaps when you get back say "I'm back" or something of that description. Thanks for these saviour videos once again.

Yes I agree. We put our cat outside the minute she healed from her spay surgery. She was getting too dependent and needed to learn how to be on her own bc we work. She now successfully hunts and keeps herself entertained for hours. And comes back every now and then for treats and a love scratch. I already have 2 kids I don't need a 3rd as a cat.

those two cats are so funny..........Soni is already like that Kitten's big brother.......Xuni and Yuni don't seem to be around the kitten much but i guess that they are a bit too old for the little kitten and well, Xuni as we all know loves to do things slow and relaxed......while Yuni is more like she will play with the kitten for sometime but then when she thinks that she has had enough, she just gives a tap on the head and then walks away like "i am done playing for now" which leaves Soni the only cat who has just as much energy as the little kitten and also if i remember right, Soni was the first to actually go to the kitten from the very start, that's after she was rescued..........

In answer to the question, I wonder are they missing me? Actually.... YES! and the more significant reason WHY, ( for the baby cat), could strongly relate to the issue that as a teeny baby cat, Her mommy-cat left and abandoned her. And then after being rescued, loved, fed, and taken care of, she got used to being close to the human who cared for and loved her enough to rescue her and love her and give her food/water, and lots of lovely play times, She became trustful, and hopeful that her "human" is there to comfort her when she goes through a panic anxiety to let her know that She can trust you do your best to help her by being the trustworthy and providing sort of support and security she still will have off and on episodes with the rest of her life. I have a very handsome bob tail kitty who I rescued, but I had to figure out his behaviors to come to the understanding that He was actually suffering from Separating Anxiety. It took him a VERY VERY long time to understand that when I would leave home to run errands, go to doctor, go food shopping, I ALWAYS come back. Though it helps him that his little sister Ginney, (a beautiful, brown/black tabby cat) is with him to keep company with, and comfort him, and when I get home, I ALWAYS go to the kitties and let them know I'm back, and to play with them a short time--So, they know I'm home and they don't have to get too sad with panic and get their "human mommy" attention and play time, and they feel all better and safe and secure cause their "mommy" is back home. :) :) :)
