This is a simply INCREDIBLE treasure trove that you have released here! I've seen some scattered concept art and sketches over the years, but never anything as comprehensive as this! It's fascinating to see a semi real time evolution of the movie, the different concepts that they're trying out on the drawing level, on the script level, on the voice acting. I understand and agree with most of the deletions that they made from the earliest version of the scene, overall the end product is just much more naturally paced, but this was a treat to behold. All of those early sketches of the wedding chaos, and the subtly different ideas they were trying out there, taking only the most obvious example, originally just having Max literally knocking Vanessa down instead of biting her. And yeah, all the variations in the voice acting. I don't know that I've ever wanted to see a workprint more than this one, so thank you sooo much

So it was originally the flamingos who dropped Vanessa into the wedding cake rather than the sea lions bouncing her into it. That explains why flamingos ended up in the final film and weren’t seen actually participating in battle 🦩🦩🦩

This is neat. I got a bunch of bootleg disney workprints too. Like Treasure Planet, 2 Aladdin ones, Lion King 1 and 2, Great Mouse Detective, Little Mermaid and maybe a couple of others. Would you like to trade digitally? I''d love to have complete copies of these workprints.

I'm a little disappointed they deleted some of these parts. Seeing a braver Flounder challenging the shark and also helping Ariel get to the boat, if they put that and the battle of Scuttle and the birds from the final version, that would be a good mix. And I find Scuttle's reaction to Vanessa at the beginning was funny too. It shows how bad he feels about Ariel. Not to mention Sebastian called him a dodo. 😄
