Hey, thanks a lot for that! However, I think you forgot a sentence between 拍拍這翅 跳不到遠處 (Flipping this fin, can't jump to far) and 到處去那去那些 佢叫咩話？ 街 (Going everywhere on, what it name? Street), and also a line between 街中暢遊 只想我能 (Travel around the street, only hope I can) and 珍寶獻上 如讓我揀 願跳出水裡 (Offer treasures, if let me choose, hoping to jump out the water. There are also two lines missing between 心中確信 人定勝魚 (Believe in heart, human better than fish) and 想那裡個個字的 我也會 (Every words in there, I already know)

3 as far as I know. The Cantonese and Taiwanese Mandarin dubbings were made in 1990. Then, in 2007, the Mainland Chinese dubbing(Putonghua) was made. However, the Putonghua was made for TV, while the other two were released in theaters.

Since KZbin introduced this “for kids” thing and comments disappeared, a lot of lyrics are now gone too 🙁 Anyway, luckily this was in the description of the pop version: 長世上去 Coeng sai soeng heoi Live a long life in the world up above

@@Meirenyu Yeah, I saw that this was the lyrics on the Pop version and on lyrics translate; however, a Cantonese girl made a cover and added the lyrics, and for this line, a character is different : 塵世上去 And phonetically it sounds more like this one, and also for the sense

You are correct. I am a singing student. Someone like Jodi Benson sings the song in the Soprano range. The woman in this video singing in Cantonese is more of a Contralto range. I feel this song sounds best in the Soprano range.
