”you will understand its too far. I can not carry this body with me. Its too heavy. It will be like and old abandoned shell. Theres nothing sad about old shells.”- little prince Im bawling my eyes out. This is and always will be my favorite book.

❤ When i was in elementary school I had to read this book. It wasn't my choice. I had a teacher in elementary school (grade k-6). My teacher even said you will all think this is just a story for kids. The book did have some illustrations like children's books do. As most children do we wanted to be grown ups. We didn't want to be treated like children though. He got us to do a book report and do quizzes on it. He mentioned that this is a book we need to read 3 times in our lives. Now as kids, later as young adults and as an older adult. He said it would have a whole different meaning later. A book we would read to our own children one day.He was very right! I recall rolling my eyes reading this at the time. I read it again in my 20s and it meant a lot more. Listening again as I'm in my late 30s and I am crying. What a beautiful story. I wish i understood more like i did when i was a child. Things were different and our minds had such a different way of compartmentalizing and dealing with situations unlike grown ups. The little prince had me feeling ashamed at myself for forgetting and not understanding the importance of things. Listening to your heart is so important. As we age we keep using our heads. The Little Prince is a beautiful reminder to use our hearts more as children often do ❤ Thank you for this reading 😊

Many many people I have come to know ...have bought homes for 20,ooo or less. Back in the days, Houses were in fact that inexpensive. If only that were to be true in this day an Age. Not The Good ol Days anymore..

I had this book when I was in elementary. I gave it away because I wasn’t interested in reading at all. Now that I’m older, I wish I kept it.

I’m actually using this book to help me learn French at the moment. The copy of this book that I’ve had since I was 6 is a bit…beaten up. I love this story and have seen so many adaptations of it.
