This is great. Question for you: it seems some sources indicate that St. James the Less was the first Bishop of Jerusalem. Could you help us distinguish why St. James the Great was the first Bishop of Jerusalem?

46:31 Not sure what happens to the one Holy Catholic church if there is no one shepherd....For instance, after good Pope Benedict died and before Francis came along, there were a few days without a pope in Rome. Does this mean that the church was momentarily not catholic?

54:50 Also, do not Orthodox have to join the Catholic equivalent of their group? For instance, do not Ukrainian Orthodox who wish to come into the Catholic Church have to become Ukrainian Catholic? If they wish to become Roman Catholic, I have heard that they have to get special permission from Rome. I saw such a document about 40 years ago. It had to be witnessed by at least one priest from the desired rite and then sent to Rome for approval. It might be just a formality, but it seemed quite serious at the time.

The Jewish Christians were allowed to do animal sacrifices in the temple as long as they did not see it as necessary for salvation. St Paul did so in the bible. After the temple was destroyed the animal sacrifices stopped.
