WORD !!! I can't wait for the album drop so we get the official lyrics, though I do have a pretty different speculation after listening to this on repeat for the last 2 days. I've got: "a (popular?) facade a (???) -ace you treat me with suspicion While you smile and shake my hand" and then I've got plumb nothing for the second half, except I agree that the last word is "f-f-face!" I think "I thought you were on my side / i thought you were the same" makes more sense lyrically with the rest of the lyrics than my guess though,,

@@GoldenAfternoonsInHell ooo I love that second half for sure!! The gestures they do on stage (the handshake, pointing to their faces) rlly help confirm it. Considering this is the last song they wrote for the album, fingers crossed that it'll drop and we'll get the official lyrics soon!

I'VE GOT IT (I think) I've listened to all the recordings of this night that I could find, and found on where 0_1's voice came through a little clearer. "I thought you were on my side I thought you'd understand You (treat me with suspicion) while you smile and shake my hand - You keep me like a dog You keep me in my place (????) f-f-face!

I also heard the 'dog' line when listening on my own, so I'm fully convinced it's something with that now!! : "You treat me like a dog You put me in my place So I'll stick to filling orders Wipe that grin right off my face" ('grin' explains the hand motion they do here!) I also think the line about 'suspicion' could be something something, 'deception' ('you trick me with deception') ? but eh, it's certainly close enough!
