when i was younger, i was completely obsessed. i would sing all these songs and watch the little animations. as i grew older, i started to drift more away from it. more so- disliking it. i’ve seen a few things here and there on the man behind the slaughter, so i decided to look back. i realize now how amazing it is. not only is it a well made game, and a meaningful song, it’s intriguing too. it always seems to leave some sort of cliffhanger at the end of every game, and that’s truly interesting to me. and it’s all the character development, too. how much guilt the mother feels after losing her child to someone no one really knows. how much fear they see in the unknown about ‘purple guy.’ the entire story line is so very well made. it’s the perfect mix of horrifying, and pity. the sadness you feel for everyone who lost their child. but also unfolding the secrets about both william afton and his story. it still to this day never fails to amaze me.
