Ok... So it is time to reveal few things you asked from the previous episode. Minor spoilers that are ok to be spoiled now. 1 - So various other players have been in this world before. 2 - Players disappeared at the same time from game in our world future 2138. But they appeared in new world during various times. 3 - So far, we know at least 5 or 6 such times players appeared at various time in new world history. 4 - Every time a player or group of players appeared they would clearly leave an impact. The Rubik's cube we saw in episode 1 is one such item. That is all that can be spoiled for now. ;D
