Khudi is a really deep word. I dont claim to understand the full philosophy behind it but to me, crudely, it means, self consciousness, self esteem, a quality of one to value themselves and their inner self. The man in the video is set out to meet his khudi. "Khudi ko khudse milane..." that starting line perfectly captures that. Its his dream, the one that his inner self has had for the longest time and he set out to conquer it. The ending captures that perfectly too. He's found his peace, on a quiet hill, around sunset, alone, with the bike that got him there. This song means a lot to me as a rider spiritually. Its about realising your dreams.

Cold winters of Jammu, foggy evenings, missing those school days, and when I stayed in this city. Since now I have moved to Kolkata for studying, these 15 day vacations feel heavenly. I am a lower middle class boy. My mom had open heart surgery 7 months back. My dad use to remain out of home due to his work( we are not financially stable ). My sister is out for studies. Now I am alone with my mom serving her and doing all household things and trying to find job which I can do from home to support my family . This song gives me hope that one day everything will be fine , we will be financially stable. I will be living my dreams which I had since childhood. And I will make my family happy and full of life again. And I believe I will make everything good again. I will never loose hope

There is no doubt that this is a really beautiful and powerful song, but I feel the video doesn't get enough love. Kudos to the whole team for making such an amazing video. Not only does it tell a beautiful story but some of the landscape shots are incredibly captivating! Not to mention they used soo many different types of cameras, angles and camera movement pacing cuts with the tempo of the music. All of that is just brilliant! These guys are masters of their craft! And special shout out to the main actor. He put in a brilliant performance without any dialogues. And that is very very commendable.

I relate to this so much. I have a honda shine and I always have been conscious about not having a decent bike for long rides. All the people I ride with have tourers, cruisers, sports bikes and I show up with my 125cc street bike. I ride with my friends from time to time but at one point I decided I'll be better off on my own. I found my pace and comfort in my bike. Ive roamed over 7000 kms in last 5 months on it! Most of it was solo. Ive taken it to both coasts and the end of indian peninsula. Himalayas are what elude me for now. It's going to be a long and distant future trip but I'll make it with my bike. I rent and ride big bikes on weekends for fun from time to time but I'm always grateful and happy when I'm on my own bike. It's my bike. It takes me places whenever and however I like it. If any one reading this is on the fence about taking your small bikes out for an adventure. Just do it. Maintain your bike well and it'll handle it just fine. The freedom of being on two wheels, on your own, is same no matter the bike you have.
