The Hell-fire of Hell complained to its Lord saying: O Lord! My parts are eating (destroying) one another. So Allah allowed it to take two breaths, one in the winter and the other in the summer. The breath in the summer is at the time when you feel the severest heat and the breath in the winter is at the time when you feel the severest cold."

This is all wrong. Seasons are not caused by the Sun getting hotter or cooler, they are due to the relative position of the Earth with respect to the Sun. Sun does have a cycle, but it has nothing to do with the weather on this planet. Sun is just as hot in winter as it is summer.

Before the new covenant they went to the lake of fire or ades or limbo, depending on the sins, not all the righteous went to heaven, most of them went to ades or limbo is a dark and boring place to wait for another life, they were freed because They did not have the same opportunity as those who were alive to rectify, they were released with another opportunity because it's fair, time is up. All those who did not rectify will be thrown into the lake of fire, the lake of fire is being in the presence of GOD but GOD does not want you in his presence but there is no other place to go, we are always in the presence of GOD, only the saints do not burn in the presence of GOD. There will be no more limbo or ades or sheol, everything will be thrown into the fire either for a time or forever.
