The ocean is actually connected with the loch. Which means that even if nessie was to be real, it wouldn't really just stay put in the loch, it would also go out into the ocean. Also, scientist find new species of animals every day. On land mostly since the oceans are only 5% explored by us humans. Which means there's still 95% undiscovered things (living ones to be exact) not yet found. So to confirm that an animal such as nessie wouldn't be possible to exist is just dumb. It doesn't have to be "a dinosaur". It could just be a new species undiscovered.

All your lectures seem so academic, well researched and presented with excellence. Many refer to topics I am (if I ever get back to work) in need of good research. Is it too much to ask that you scroll down a list of your sources, for lazy writers like me to check the authenticity of topics I'm covering? If I knew who you or your team were and if I had the money I'd employ you! Thank you for all you do.

I didn’t even realize you have a native american history explained video. I will have to check it out. I am native american. From within canada, although my family came from the seneca, NY, area originally. I know there are many stories and creation accounts from all across turtle island. Even though history is described as being written by the “winners” , making it nearly always a one sided account, the true history of our entire world slowly comes to surface. I know my culture and certain proofs of our history, has been suppressed purposely, even destroying archaeological evidence to keep the truth secret. I am glad I come from a traditional family, whom managed to hang on to our knowledge and traditions, through all the forced assimilation and attacks by the manifest destiny society. Our oral history luckily survives.

Fun fact, plesiosaurs couldn’t raise their head at a 90 degree angle, only a 30 degree angle, making it impossible for the picture to be a plesiosaur, they also can not go on land without getting stuck do to their body design, they would dry out to fast to return to the water. Contrary to what you said about it being cold blooded, they actually could have been something between warm and cold blooded and could have had blubber like whales and ichthyosaurs that lived at the same time as earlier plesiosaurs so, they could live in cold environments. But plesiosaurs are most likely dead.

I have been enjoying this series and I hate to make critical comments, but neither could I bring myself to hit the like button as I normally would do. Somethingreally grated on me, namely- it's 'Loch Ness' and 'Nessie' (sometimes affectionately referred to in the feminine btw) not 'THE Loch Ness' or 'THE Nessie'. Also, 'Loch' is never pronounced the same way as 'lock & key'. It should end with a sound like someone clearing their throat and rhyme with 'Och' in the proverbial 'Och aye, th' nooo!' Sorry- just had to get that off my chest. Thanks for posting this vid. I think the most interesting Nessie theory is that she is a demonic spirit conjured up by Aleister Crowley when he was was doing a lot of that sort of thing in his Lochside house, as part of a broader magickal working he was doing at the time. interestingly, Jimmy Page from Led Zeppelin later bought the same house and it went up in flames just a few weeks ago, for the second time. It was arson and probably by someone who felt compelled to cleanse the alleged dark energies of the place. This is a response video I made about it if you are interested- kzbin.info/www/bejne/epmnZ2SZeLGFlbc

“Somewhere in the waters of the Scottish Highlands...” That would be specifically The Loch Ness near Inverness, the capital of the Highlands and the Monster is nicknamed Nessie, however the term “The Loch Ness Monster” denotes it’s location exactly and that it is a monster OF the Loch. Other than that little error I found it most intriguing and very well researched. As a Scotsman, Nessie, like the Bagpipes, Haggis, Whisky, Kelpies and our elusive national animal the Unicorn- is very dear to me. Believe or don’t believe that Nessie exists people, she’s a LEGEND none the less 😁👍🏼

Well I have not heard you talk about in this video. If you go online and you can probably look it up. Loch Ness is known to have. Huge caves and tunnels that run for miles underground. this mean that there could be are as well as large areas that the monster or Nancy could live in. While still being able to access the water for fish and other foods. As well there's an entrance from loch Ness to the ocean. Which could allow the creature to go back and forth.

I spent some time in Scotland. Had a beer in a pub on the lock ask the publican if he had seen Nessy he told me he lived on the lock for nearly 60 years and had seen nothing. He told me that Nessie was good for business. Stayed on lock oick as well ask a farmer if there was a monster in the lock he said yes he had seen it. I asked him what did it look like. He said it looked like a giant eal. Because thats what it was.
@kimeraclan31355 жыл бұрын
Honestly I don't know what to believe. Maybe some kind of large animal lived there that has since been extinct, or had been made myth, but word of mouth spread and became a wide spread shared thought. I like to think of the Loch Ness Monster as an idea, or a legend that people can share in keep alive. So, yeah, I'd like it if Nessie were still alive or present in some form or another.
