Saw these guys at the agora ballroom in cleveland back when they toured with fantomas and the trevor dunn trio convulsant while tripping heavily on mushrooms...changed my life...not so sure it was in a good way either.

I saw them on that tour in Chicago and two buddies took shrooms. They were there for Fantomas and had never heard the Locust. The ride home was quite interesting, as myself and my friend who went for the Locust were completely sober.

I was up front right next to him the whole show. He was frustrated with the sound n shit like usual. he messed up a couple times(you can hear him saying sorry). Being the perfectionist he is, he gets bummed and pissed off pretty easy playing drums.

@@fffffffffff8402 yeah he sounds godly, I saw them desert days same position in front of gabe the whole show and he’s just so freaking incredible I couldn’t stop watching him the whole time. Lighting bolt played the same stage a different night and every drummer hated those stage and sound people. Brian was just as pissed as gabe for sure.

3rd to last show of theirs and maybe their only sloppy set ever. For a band that may be the tightest there will ever be, this set is truly an odd one out. Gabe even apologizes to the crowd multiple times and lowers his head after not finishing a couple songs fully.
