Ivor Novello was a great actor as well as musical composer. The best version of The Lodger.

Very curious to know who composed this score ... just watched the film on TCM, it was this version and I think the score (and the film) is fantastic

@normandyangel "Pleasure Garden" was his first film. I love this film, and I think that it shows his venture into other genres, with the expressionistic backgrounds. You can also feel that in a way, he's starting to muster his own style in "The Lodger". This was a way for him to formulate it. Perfect man. It's interesting to see how he worked his way up in the rank of film maker here.

@ceberus1992able Someone posted it with the username sdfilmcritic . It's got the other score and in one full post. I've heard this soundtrack before on other public doamin silent films and hate it, not sure if the other soundtrack is any better yet but it seems better in the first two minutes.

I have a video on my channel of me playing some whack photography video game that has over 2,000 views... this is FAR more deserving and it only has 137 views. I don't think I'll ever figure people out, man.
