I think even with Rubick his Magnus would do better than game 4, because he realized he had to BKB every time he wants to initiate. And he did, in fact, BKB every time so Sky won't have any chance of canceling and he went for Kunkka at the start of fights to get rid of that potential X marks.

Unlike the seemingly orchestrated Ti8 and Ti9, this Ti had inputs that made sense on both teams. This was more of a mental warfare, than skill warfare, the dudes knew how to play most heroes, but in the end, its their draft counters that will win the game. Unfortunately, LGD gambled with their 100% winrate, versus Collapse's very dangerous Magnus

This was actually a 200 IQ call by TORONTO. They really needed Collapse to have a good game to win. Since PSG LGD was to go the first pick, it was pretty obvious that they're gonna steal Magnus from Spirit. Tables turned when they let PSG LGD choose between Tiny and Magnus by not banning Tiny (Meta carry during TI10). Yeah, they baited PSG LGD with that logic.

TI9 Team Liquid with the "All-knowing" Kuroky, he's so stubborn and insensitive with the people around him except for Miracle which he always listen to.

Something I really appreciate about this is even though they disagree with Tokyo, Silent and Miposhka are still examining the idea. Yes, they disagree, but it's a real discussion - they're going back on forth on perspectives and danger and valuing the pick. Silent then really builds on the team back and forth to find a way to make Tokyo's idea work, and Miposhka backs it once the logic wins him over. There's an art form to considering the merit of an idea you disagree with, but still examining it properly. That is fully on display here.

Yes letting opponent to pick their strongest strat and let your strongest strat to fight them fair and square. People blaming LGD for letting magnus though but that was all on hindsight. At that moment Tiny+Lycan was 100% winrate on LGD while Magnus was completely destoryed by XinQ in game3. Even 3 of his teammates (collapse didn't say a thing, probably worried about xinq rubick) didn't agree with his logic at first

Its actually a good logic, psg gets tiny and they get magnus which works better for them. Psg gets tiny give them confidence since tiny never lost a game going to the finals. However Spirit gets the opportunity to pick heroes to counter against it. The way Spirit discuss as a team and trust each other is amazing.

torontotokyo is such an underrated part of spirit's sucess. The spotlight was on collapse for making big plays in the finals and yatoro for his crazy carry perfoamance. But ever since their series against vp and second series against iG during TI, torontotokyo kept jumping in as the DK, making seemingly suicidal but big engages; as well as solo 1v5ing enemies as lina, in those moments, I knew this guy was gonna be a successful midlaner. Decisive, Precise and had a huge pair of balls.

Я, как минимум 3 заметил очень серьезных ляпа. причем первый ляп в начале игры пришлось даже отматать раза 4, потому, что я не понял повествование... Потом долго думал, что они зачем то вставили будущуюю игру? ради чего не совсем понял... потом доперло , что это все таки ляп, они не тот видео ряд на секунду поставили... Знаменитый ульт от Мипошки на Виверне в Ликана Team Secret , ещё тогда подумал, что они схалтурили сильно, вот когда про него вспомнил, то понял, что это не я глупый, и до меня , что то не доходит в повествовании, а это просто был ляп. п. с. когда я говорю про повествование, я думал, что то типо флеш бэка, когда тебя специально отбрасывают в будущее или прошлое, в момент рассказа, для какого то импакта в повествовнии истории, что бы лучше передать чувства... Сейчас уже насобирал таки косяков штук 14, пока других читал... Реально слишком много косяков, либо они специально сделали таким плохим , либо спешили. Хотя всеравно получил удовольствие в целом от просмотра. Но объективно этот True Sight был хуже по качеству предыдущих 2х - 3х...

Now that you mention it, that is kinda true. TI 7, 8 and 9 are about the players mentality, how Kuro needs his teammates to focus, Newbee to gather themselves, and OG raising confidence in themselves and always trying to tilt their opponents. Here, in TI 10 both teams feel more relaxed that they can think really clearly about the draft. Team Spirit is really carefree, and LGD are fairly relaxed too, so the 'mental warfare' factor isn't really there. It's more about them adapting their drafts and how to counter draft.

Спирит могли не получить магнуса только в одном случае - если бы ЛГД взяли его на ФП. В таком случае они бы уже не смогли бы взять Тини+Люкан, и давали Спиритам возможность закрыть Магнуса Рубиком, Андаингом или подобными героями. И далеко не факт, что ЛГД смогли бы выиграть связкой ТиниМагнус. Так что по итогу китайцы оказались заложниками своей "имба"- связки, которая ограничила их возможности к пикам. Так что Торонто рисковал значительно меньше, чем может показаться.

A very risky logic, but it paid off because LGD wasn't aware that Spirit is afraid of their Magnus more than their Tiny. Once LGD picked Tiny, they actually fell into Spirit's trap because now they have to commit to Lycan instead of choosing the reliable Magnus counters, giving Spirit the chance to ban them after the first two picks

They baited a first pick (5th phase) for them to get Magnus at second picks (6th phase). Mind you, they mostly ban Tiny on their second ban, only this once they let it through. Even Xiao8 was heavily considering Magnus before seeing Tiny was still in the pool. The fact that TS knew PSG.LGD's Tiny-Lycan combo was their go-to strat, that was why they gambled, because they feel strongly about Magnus. Mind you, they could just ban Magnus outright, but they gambled for PSG to take the bait and pick Tiny instead of Magnus and then getting Magnus for themselves.

Toronto is probably the most instrumental player in his team in winning TI, the games in which he is doing well dictates the pace of how his team's play. When he is not doing as well in the game, the games tends to collapse onto itself. Yes collapse had his moments of brilliance while yatoro plays objectively well over all the matches, but it is still TT playstyle that made them go over the top over LGD.

In ti grand finals game 5 kunkka was doing better in the early and mid game but has not much of an impact as compared to TT ember even though he is so behind in farm. Lgd supports was getting targetted left right center resulting in them not able to build on their early game momentum. And when LGD supports is able to do well, ie Rubick, we saw how the tables easily turn against team spirit.

TS feared the Tiny. They debated alot of letting it thought. It was between getting a comfort pick and giving your enemy their strongest weapon. Tiny could very easily become Ana's ti9 Io. LGD made engagements were read by TS, who managed to close the 4k lead with baits. Had they more patience, LGD would have a chance to hit a stronger timing to snowball their lead.

the reason Torontotokyos decision to leave tiny in the pool was genius is because it has changed the whole draft from LGD side, the right move from them was to instead pick magnus and then spirit would have ignored tiny since they haven't played him much in TI10 and it wasn't really their hero to play, yet magnus was very difficult to play against even for Spirit -instead LGD chose to go with comfort picks which made them stomp all the other teams not realizing that team Spirit already knew how to counter it.

It's actually decent logic. Why would you give the enemy their best hero when you don't have a strong alternative hero to counter it? Also your team has a player that can play that hero at its best so just pick it and counter that dangerous combo later. It's better to counter your enemies best heroes with your best hero.
