Nice video, Andy. When my sister and I were in London in Oct 2019 (before everything went kerflooey, COVID-wise), we had a great dinner with a spectacular view at Darwin Brasserie-so this time, when my husband and I will be back to London toward the end of April), I made sure to book a table. We tried to time things for a sunset view, but I’m sure it’ll be lovely no matter what. Thanks for pointing out the no-heating-no-A/C thing, though it should be fine when we go. I’d certainly think twice about going in the summer, if London gets another of those crazy heatwaves again!

I can't recommend this enough. A free attraction with fantastic views. If you cant get tickets, go at 10am for a walk in. I've done it myself and funnily enough walked in past ticket holders, so much for 'be prepared'. You can eat there as long as you are willing to sell a body part.

I left London forty years ago for the US and most of those tall buildings weren’t even constructed. I’m visiting the city in a couple of weeks and I have a breakfast reservation at Darwin’s. The wife doesn’t know, so it’ll be a nice surprise.

loveeeeeeee your video!! I would like to go for breakfast time. Can you recommend a time to go that doesn't have so many people? Do you know if I can use a mini tripod for my cell phone in the restaurant? Thanks :)

I don't think the stairs are open to the public although I've climbed them during a charity event and it was quite a workout!

As a 75 year old Londoner born and bred from generations of the same, I view the journey into the centre as a torture, more so in recent years and frankly any thoughts of visiting this overpriced and touristy garbage or others like them. Yuk! Years of working all across the City and West End as well as just about every borough in my working life has been dosage enough.
