Something I love about this whole album is the underlying hopefulness and optimism? Like a few songs [mostly the ones Ed penned] seem to have a more sombre tone but there's still this positivity in there. Even Gone To Hell there's that heart. Whiskey drink goes the whole song pulling at you and then the last verse brings it right back. House Song is probably a little more of an outlier where it ends a little more on the down note for me? But I just have found such comfort in the whole album. Absolutely adore the simplicity of River in the Gutter and it's so nice to go through the tracks and have the mix of lead vocals from all three of you. Never would have really thought of listening to a bluegrass album but it's been on repeat for me for a few weeks now. Need you boys back in the studio for a new one
