When a majority of pianists cover a song and run with embellishments, it comes off as if they're showcasing their ability to wiggle their fingers rather than creating something for the what the music itself is. It becomes an exercise of "look at me" rather than "listen to this music." Your embellishments and runs do showcase your ability, but first and foremost, they fit in with the essence of the spirit and intent of the music. Absolutely wonderful.

As someone who remembers The Beatles' original release in 1970, and believing no song could have captured the turbulent spirit of the times with any more grace and spirit than its creators, it is through your spirited interpretation I can look back and see those days in a more revealing light. Brava!
@paoloantunes12835 жыл бұрын
Delia Wolfe - that's what I felt! Sangah's interpretation here is magical not just because of the quality of the music- it conjures up something.. like you say more than the spirit of the Beatles, the spirit of a time.. like an "echo"! She doesn't do it consciously because she's obviously too young, but I would say.. through her soul of artist. Only true artists can achieve things like that! ( anyway enough of compliments or her ego will start to inflate 😂)

. The sweetest music is when it brings a vivid image into the mind. . A Vermont gravel road lined with shadows of trees, broken fences and rocks. . A road I've been on before but I just can't remember what's around the bend. . Music I knew, is always new when it's touched by Sangah's beautiful heart. . . There in her dotted red dress, Sangah playfully walks the winding road without a care. The only bright in the scene. Sangah, I can't remember if I commented here before. But I listened so much I owe you more. Beautiful song made even better. i love it. .

I love the ascending violins in the original song as you play them around the 2:30 mark.. Such a beautiful arrangement and here your interpretation was so sensitive and warm. You always capture the essence of the love songs and then the unsung piano music still communicates this perfectly to the listener. It really make me think harder when I am playing to really understand what the song is saying. Wonderful stuff:)
