How do I know where the transmitter is, like in FM, where there are multiple towers, how do I know which one it is?

Can I use the blue signal in FA or is it only for FM, PV, and BI?

The blue signals only appear when you turn on the local transmitter. There is a blue signal in FA, but you need to clear the other blue signals first to clear the interference in the network.

@@ToastyBits so I was happy too soon, after repairing and turning on 1st transmitter in FA, waiting for the aurora, got yellow signal, but not a blue one... good to read in here ❤ btw, where is this info hidden about the interferences, and that u have to clear the others first?

That's not really how the game works. The only way to see where you are on the map is to survey with charcoal, which will reveal the map around you. From there, you have to figure out your direction based on what's around you. It isn't my guide, but it should have a section for that. Stick North is basically the direction the stick will point when you drop it on the ground. It will always default to the same direction in a map, but can be different directions per map. If you know you are stick north of someplace you want to go, go the opposite direction of the stick. Do note that Stick North is not true world north, but is almost always up on the map itself. So in most maps, it will replace your traditionally north direction because not all maps are oriented correctly.

Yes. Once you complete the first tale, you don't have to do it again on subsequent characters. You would just need to get the radio again.

As far as I know, yes. It never occurred to me to go to a transmitter in one of the other 3 regions and see if you can turn it on. Now I wonder if you even need the shortwave radio to even open the bunkers. The only thing you need to do at FA to start is get the note, the radio, and turn on the first transmitter.
