Fun facts: 1) You can make arrows with regular sticks in a fireplace. They're weaker but better than hunting for birch saplings. 2) Safes can be unlocked without a combination. You have to guess it by hearing by going left, hear a click and stop, go right til you hear a click then stop and go left again tell you hear a click. 3) Please make a season two with you guys again but playing with the new update! Neebs will love the farming

Actually, fire hardened arrows are only really for small game likes bird and hares. I think Neebs would love the cooking though!

I actually started drawing neebs fanart of their long dark series not too long ago. On the left is Neebs standing his ground with his rifle against a lone wolf and on the right is Appsro at his demise staking wolf bodies using everything at his disposal with a huge grizzly looming over him getting ready to finish the job.

You can sleep in a fishing cabin and in most caves (warmest in the back of the cave) and they are not considered indoor locations....same with Train cars the cabin in Timberwolf Mountain. Oh, and you can sleep in a snow shelter with a bedroll.

The talk at the time was that Appsro obviously killed himself off in dramatic fashion, because they were ready for the series to end (doing the bare minimum to fight off the wolf packs and not backtracking to a safe spot to heal and all that) but did they have control over where Simon spawned I wonder? It'd be pretty funny if instead it was that they just assumed Simon would die quickly so they were prepared to let him have a genuine go and extend the series by an extra episode or two, if need be, until that inevitable Simon death happened but then fate killed Simon almost instantly.

I have a feeling they kind of set him up to die. Spawning at night surrounded by timberwolves is something that can only be achieved on harder difficulties. On the difficulty Neebs was playing, there's a 24 hour grace period before any predators even spawn and start attacking you. You're also able to choose your starting region in this game if you want, so they might've deliberately put him in that region knowing he'd die.

I love watching them play this game, they make it look so fun. The music they add makes it so much better, during tense parts, relaxed, sad, happy, etc. The close calls they show the whole series as well as the end makes it worth sitting through again. The game isn't nearly as fun to actually play... Appsro totally got himself killed on purpose. Blackrock is a hard region but if he actually tried to survive he could've made it without too much trouble. I mean ffs, he just let himself be attacked by an entire pack of wolves without fighting back when he had a literal rifle in his hands.

@@redpandatrident I don't know if it was on purpose or just out of panic, but the area he ran into there with the bear is a literal dead end called "Bear's Bend". I made that exact same mistake while running from timberwolves after running out of ammo. After surviving the first bear attack and getting past it, he was doomed.
