You can place a campfire anywhere, but you cannot place something far away from your position. If your fire is exposed and winds pickup it can be blown out. You can comfortably carry as many things as your weight limit allows. It's in the upper left of the inventory screen. You can burden yourself if you go over that weight. This will slow down movement and increase caloric drain. You can find more clothing to combat exposure.

I love this game. I'm waiting for the final wintermute episode. I'm playing in survival mode at the moment far territory forsaken airfield. Old Man's Beard Lichen, when crafted together, makes a good antiseptic bandage Look for warmer clothes, weapons, and tools. When checking cars, prybar is needed for most boots.
