The Long Dawn of Stokksnes

Dawn along the Vestrahorn on Stokksnes peninsula on the south eastern coast of Iceland.
During mid-summer in Iceland, it doesn't really get dark. The sun sets very slowly and rests just below the horizon. For hours it radiates amazing, beautiful, photo perfect light with hues of red and yellow. The stunning colors just hang in the sky for hours. You have time to compose and deliberately create your shots. It's amazing! Coupled with the raw and rugged landscapes, its really a landscape photographers paradise.
