In case you'd forgotten, freighters tend to have at least one or two barrels of pure diesel, often containing as much as 50+ liters each

@@vlognblog. True, good to note. In my experience, it's markedly rarer than pure diesel though. I'd say ~80% of ships have at least one barrel of pure diesel, whereas pure gas is probably ~30-50%. I switched from a cargo truck to a Fury, so I'm very aware of how many ships only have gas in worthless mixtures of oil or other impurities

I wish this was a more frequent series of yours. I love just listening to the car go vroom while you talk about the most random and relatable topics. I love how this channel is sort of unique in this department. No other channel that I watched who made The Long Drive videos played it in this way. Everyone is chaotic and loud, meanwhile, our candle man Mr. Librarian is just chill and likes to talk. I don't know why but he reminds me of a quiet classmate that I had in school which was the chillest guy ever and had some amazing stories but no one talked to him because everyone thought he was weird.

37:50 RDR2 gave me insight into how much i love slow, granular gameplay, and now i'm addicted to games like The Long Drive, DayZ, VOTV, Zomboid, etc. some of my favorite games take an inordinately amount of time to completely simple tasks simply due to the satisfaction you get at the end of it all.

Here’s one (really hard and kinda frustrating) game that could be a cool series to see,My Summer Car It’s not exactly supposed to be a creepy/horror game,it’s a 1990s Finnish life simulator based around building a project car,there’s a town you can go in and meet people,there’s traffic on the roads,you can do odd jobs around the map or even participate in a rally race. HOWEVER,aside from the actuality intended creepy moments,the game has also been described as kinda eerie with a strange sense of desolation,might be worth a shot if you’re up for another random kinda driving game (speaking of that “phamtom hitchhiker but you’re a bus driver”,there is in fact a actual game that’s basically like that,probably would be good for a 3 short horror games episode)

Don't know if you're gonna see this comment but I would absolutely LOVE to see another long drive video seeing as the update you were talking about was recently released as a beta and there's a lot more cool stuff they added to terrain generation and I think it would make for an amazing video. Something so intriguing about that creepy and comfy feeling on the road!

I love Librarian just start talking about him self a little bit while driving down the dark road. It made me very comfortable with I ripped someone to shreds in Mortal Kombat. It also made me comfortable that he started to talk about how he creeps himself out while reading. It came off as relatable, because I always put the story readings on while doing anything. Now I will always picture himself getting chills when I listen.

I believe it's a modification, but you can utilize blood as a fuel for a red "blood engine," which functions stopping at storage units is good because they can hold the blood engine. Also, shipwrecks could potentially yield blood containers for the fuel for the engine. I really enjoy the extended driving videos, especially the idea of sharing scary stories at night and happy tales during the day. I would love to see more of these long drive episodes. And would love to see you play boneworks or Bonelab depending on what type of vr you use bonelav is quest and Boneworks is the other ones like Rift. Keep up the good work❤

i feel like this game can have a lot more horror elements, especially at night. the crickets, the silent road, and the dark sides of the road can really be improved to create more terror. imagine it going completely silent for no reason, or looking in your mirror to see something behind your car or in the back seat. i love everything horror and terror. im a weirdo though so yea

Small story relating to your mention of a creepy instance you think on later(ref time @1:00:00 ) I used to work as a pizza delivery driver and am pretty close friends with the manager even to this day. As I was waiting at a red light waiting to turn left, right before being back at the pizza place, I see my manager's van and my manager in the driver seat drive by. I could clearly see it was him as it was mid day and sunny.... As i enter the back of the pizza shop and put the warming bag down I turn back to see him there working on a pizza. I explained what I saw to him and he could tell I was serious and seemed weirded out as well. He joked about maybe him having a doppleganger. To this day it is one of a handfull of weird things I have seen/experienced and can't find any reason behind.

The bus has a door button under the front bumper. It also has a big mirror inside that you can adjust to show the rear. NP. You can move your body around and up & down when in your seat of any vehicle by holding down the Q key whilst moving with the mouse and scrolling the wheel.

The way you talked about how you'd imagine something or someone behind you. There's actually a backrooms level called scopophobia. I'm not sure if you know much about the backrooms fandom. But basically it's a series of "levels" connected through different entrances and exits that you go through by "noclipping" through them. For example to get to level 69 (no not a joke) you need to sleep in a car on a certain level and you'll noclip when you wake up on an empty road in a car with some "entities" that want you dead and a thing that will kill you if you leave the car. But Level Scopophobia is basically a level where it's kind''ve like an old house with static televisions and stuff. It's all pretty old. And it's infinite. But as time goes on it gets creepier. After about 10-20 minutes pictures on the wall all become of you from outside perspectives like outside the windows or from the corner of the room your in. Like someone is stalking you. Then eventually there's a knocking sound coming from outside. And then someone is asking to come in. But eventually if you go into a bathroom and look in the mirror you'll see someone in the corner of the room that's not there. And you'll start hearing breathing from behind your neck. If you look back you're never seen again. But eventually it will stop and your allowed to noclip into another level. I highly recommend you look into the backrooms wikidot and fandom wiki. But please don't become like the channel IGP and literally make liminal spaces and the backrooms your entire channel.. It gets old quick. I actually really love your videos. It's always interesting cause you talk like your having a actual discussion with us. Its always is interesting. Whether it's philosophical or scientific. But the backrooms always makes you feel scared like you could actually end up there. For example you start avoiding stair cases that are poorly lit in fear you could "noclip there" or buzzing fluorescent lights. it would be cool if during one of these videos while your playing a game like The Long Drive you actually discussed cool levels and stuff.

Helldivers 2 is a really good example for good dificulty. Some may say it´s just unfair and kills you at higher difficultys. But that isn´t correct. What it does is force you to play really cooperative and tactiacally, Adapt you playstyle and eqipment to the mission and the other players. And it punishes you hard when you don´t.
