There's actually a real reason the orange M&M is so nervous all the time. The Orange M&M character was originally created as a mascot for the crispy M&Ms back in 1995. The Orange M&M was chosen as the mascot for the crispy M&Ms due to his witty and nervous personality. The nervousness of the Orange M&M character is meant to reflect the anticipation and excitement that people feel when they are about to try something new, like a new flavor of M&Ms. Just some interesting M&Ms lore for you :]
