Damn was that a challenge. Kane and X-Pac's story to me, was one of the very best of 1999. There's always heavy focus with Kane's stories in the early years. It's something I noticed and this tag team/feud was yet another positive in his career. What did you think of Kane and X-Pac's story?

It was such a great storyline and underrated tag team. When X Pac turned heel it really upset people art the time and probably contributed to "X Pac heat" people forget how over X Pac was as a face in 1999

Sean waltman stated in a interview that it was way too early to breakup him and Kane as a tag team and it kind of messed the Kane character up and he said the team had legs and felt they could've did more.

After the xpac heel turn he was pretty much never the same again, he was really over in 98-99 and wasnt liked again.

I live in Dandridge tn. When i was a child my dad managed a hardware store and glen (kane) was building a new house close by. I was a HUGE fan so my dad told me to come to the store and asked Glen if he would come meet me. This was before he was unmasked and i was in awe. Will never forget that day.

The BOD pretty much dominated t tag team division in the summers of 98 & 99. But not as partners. Kane & Mankind won the tag titles twice in 1998 Undertaker & Stone Cold won em once. Kane & X-Pac won the tag title twice in 1999, Undertaker & Big Show won em twice as well.

For me the summer destruction should have been undertaker and Kane teaming up in 1999, can you imagine the destruction those 2 could have caused, huge miss chance, same as not putting the belt on kane in 99 instead of big show

From the way things turned out maybe they should of just kept the two together for a couple more years at least through 2000... After xpac turned heel the fans hated him and he pretty much jobbed for the rest of his wwe career...in 2000 and 01 let's face it kane wasnt gonna be world champ with austin, rock, hhh and kurt angle coming up so he pretty much was put into pointless feuds.

My fantasy back when I played smackdown 2 was I’d set up the Kat and Kane together. I think it would’ve been cool since RTC was targeting both them later on down the storylines, instead of doing Jerry Lawler, they should have had Kane rescue her inadvertently, and when she goes to thank him she sees him with his mask off and he flips, but she stays and befriends him anyways. This sparks controversy as we know EVERYTIME Kane gets betrayed so at first he doesn’t trust her but then she comes to aid him against RTC. I also would’ve made Paul Bearer have an issue with this and force Kane to chose after he attacks Kat, which Kane would decide her. Then later they could have Tori after she broke off from X-PAC try and get back with Kane, regretting her choices and going full heel up against the outmatched Kat, but with her eventually coming out on top, and the relationship ending when Kanes overprotective and jealous nature kicks in when he fears the Kat repeating what happens with Tori, forcing them to go separate ways eventually after he has a stalking and scary possessive story with her. But hey missed opportunities.

Then have X Pac turn on Kane ARMAGEDDON 1999 X Pac vs Kane Have Kane get attack and injured so XPac can win the match ROYAL RUMBLE 2000 Have XPac eliminate Kane with the help of New Age Outlaws SMACKDOWN! Have the Tori reveal NO WAY OUT 2000 Have X Pac be the special guest referee for The Rock vs. Big Show match, when he is about to screw them have Kane come and chase him out. WRESTLEMANIA 2000 Finally have an 1 on 1 fair single match between XPAC VS KANE Have the chicken try to inject on XPac behalf but Kane realizes it Pete Rose. Tombstone him then Tombstone XPac for the win
