Very nice vlog. Thank you for sharing. I am considering to live in the Philippines for at least 6 months of the year and Palawan is on top of the list of the places I am considering. I love the sea, nature and fishing. I have lived in the Philippines for 8 months before, close to Manila (Las Pinas and Muntinlupa), so I know a bit about living in the Philippines. I am a single dad for two teenagers that are half Filipino, and I plan to do this about 4 years from now when my kids either have moved out or manage to live in the house by themselves. Do you think San Vicente can be a nice place to live or do you recommend other places for someone that doesn't like big cities with much traffic and pollution?

Thanks for kind words. San Vincente is a beautiful nice and quiet place, nothing happens there. But a U.S. air base will open soon or is already operating, I'm not sure. This fact will definitely change the place quite seriously. As for other places, each smaller island has its own charm and will appeal to you, explore a bit before you decide where to settle.

Thanks Isla for the great vlog of San Vicente. Was there last July to visit my wife who lives 5 minutes from long beach. The beach is gorgeous. the people are top notch. I'm shocked that there are so few tourists flocking to such an obviously gorgeous place. In a way, i prefer to see the area remain how it is, but, it would be great if the locals benefitted from an influx of tourism.
