My great grandfather was a POW and a BATAAN Death March survivor and died in about 2017. He was almost 100 years old!

Why would you want to try to forget it? As imperfect as it is we MUST remember. Our history is lessons learned sometimes the hard way. If we just try to sweep it under the rug like it never happened every generation will make the same mistakes over and over again. Embrace our past for what it's it and what we learned. That way we can further humanity not enter a perpetual loop of ignorance and mistakes.

@@JimboShogun0686 It's not Slavic it Uralic like Finnish and Estonian. We don't have any close relative in Europe. The closest relative we have are the Mansi and the Khanty. They both count similar. In fact we're the only country in Europe who still officially uses the Eastern name order (Surname then given name)

Honestly speaking, whenever reading stories of villains or monsters, it feels like it is a self reflection of humanity. Monsters may not be real, but those monsters manifests itself in humanity.
