@TheLongestJohns - thought i'd mention that my mother worked on the victory whilst replacing the hammock netting and breaching ropes, most of which were tied and prepared in my living room. she also worked on the rope and metal work on warrior a few times

The ship is HMS Warrior (1860), she didn't hunt whales but Frenchmen, although she got a very short run of it due to becoming obsolescent pretty soon after launch
