@@argentum530 There are different companies that offer services to help you ship your vehicle to bypass the gap. It will be very expensive for us, so we are preparing for that. Luckily, we have friends that have shipped their rigs: one a van, another an RV, and one a bus bigger than ours. So we have folks we can consult. It also helps that we can hang in Nicaragua as long as we need to while navigating the logistics and paperwork involved. Basically we are preparing ourselves mentally for a month of red tape on the Panama side, at least a week of red tape on the Colombia side, and it could cost up to 10K to ship the bus (yikes, right?).

Yea....I just did that route in September 2024 from SF to Deadhorse and Back. It was my second trip to the Arctic Ocean, the first being Tuktoyaktuk and my 4th journey to Alaska. It is intoxicating.
