Love your honest thoughts all the time! I have the same problem finding hats to fit my head. Beanie style always creep up until they pop off!

The Grey Fox was the infamous leader of the Thieve's Guild in Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion :D I don't wear beanies (I call them toques) very much anymore. Even in winter. Sometimes I wear them to bed if my hair is dirty or when I workout at home if I don't want my hair getting dirty. I like the look of these though! I agree it would be nice if they kinda had their own, full brand for something.

It's super-expensive to make your own things, I know, and that would probably put the price very high, so I understand why they are going with an established company. I was just a little bit surprised that it was such a well-known brand-your-own company. Maybe because I've done a lot of convention stuff where we've had to buy super-cheap merchandise to give out, I know a little bit more about it, but I was just left wondering why it wasn't something more special. Still good, though!

Yeah, I totally see that. I have felt the same way about certain brands' products before and it's a little disappointing, especially when it's a brand you really love. I also see their comment below and it's great that you have the kind of relationship you do with The Longhairs! It makes it easier to give your honest feedback, and I am glad that you do anyway!

Great review. I found it odd as well they came out with the soft lids in April. I think early or mid Fall would of been a better time to sell them. You are definetly paying for the logo on the soft lids in my opinion. I agree they should of had more color options than just two thin beanie color options and two thick color options. I think they should have at least 8 diffrent options. 4 color options for the thick beanie and 4 for the regular beanie. Hope all is going well and have a great week.

Thanks, Rob! The beanie is certainly of a good quality. I just think it's a little bit standard, and I don't expect "standard" from those guys. Maybe something that was specifically designed for guys with long hair, like something that wouldn't break or frizz your hair when you wore it, or something for sleeping or...I dunno. Plus, I am someone who really embraces bold color and pattern, so the color choices were a little bit safe in my eyes. Have a great week!!

I wear a 7 3/4 in hats, my hair is way too thick for beanies, not sure if I could get that to stay on. I do love the company but I never thought beanies looked good on me.

These ones are a decent size. My head is large too, and this stayed on pretty well.
