Thanks Sue, i think i'd have shot myself by now if i didn't laff. All well, i'm paid by the hour. Some of the places i deliver to make Kent look like a short weekend brake. Though the time flys by alot more quickly if there is another driver there you can have a laff with. And a bacon butty van helps to.

Thank you. we do a return load to Morrisons Gadbrook from Fowler Welch Spalding. They have a horible habit of having both chill and produce on the trailer. I'll go to Chill which will take an hour to get onto the bay then another hour to unload. They will tell me i'm missing two or three pallets. I go to Produce which will take three or four hours to get of then pull off the bay to find the mising chill pallets on the head board, so i'll have to go and spend another hour or two all over again at chill. Its even better when its Saturday morning and you just want to get home. Can't i just have a straight chilled load?

@@markpritchard it's no better when you're working for them, couldn't run a pissup in a brewery! They used to send us to ex Safeway places that were delivered to with 25' trailer, we had to get 45' in there 🤣😂🤣was great fun 🤣😂🎂

It automaticly gose onto cross hammers or other work. You can manually put it on brake or avalable for work. Everytime you move it it will go back to cross hammers again.

Thanks for clearing that up. So say hypothetically you start your shift then stop at Costa/McDonald's 10mins later to get a coffee to stay awake you'd just leave it on other work because you'd only be stopped for 2mins? 🤔

Yes, i only put it on rest if i'm going to be stopped for more then 15 muinets. Also it looks as though your misusing your taco if you allways put it to rest everytime you stop. If your stopped by VOSA they will see this and think your putting it on rest when your working. Just so you know if you do put it on rest when your say unloading the lorry, your in truble if your found doing it but also, if you have an accedent and hurt yourself its very difficalt to clame for damages or any kind of compensation if your taco was on rest at the time of the accedent. I say this becouse a lot of firms push you to put it on rest while your are unloading. They don't tell you if you have an accedent your basicly screwed.

Strange isn't it if you are late getting to the place your tipping at normally they turn you away or put you at the back of the queue, it's a pity transport companies can't put in place some sort of fine/penalty for keeping you waiting, see how quick these warehouses tip you then.

Daft thing is, I was there an hour early, Booked in for 9am and I was there for 8. Don't mind waiting for my booking time as I can just take a 45 and make a cuppa t. But I was waiting until 11:45 at the first one and when I asked I was told it would be at least another half an hour. Because of that I drove of with there pallet still on, unfortunately because I was held up again my last two drops were so late they would have been closed by the time I got there. I've always thought parking fines should be sent the warehouse, they would soon tip you then, Problem is they don't so they don't care, Its a not my problem attitude.
