He is not just equal with God. It is God himself that took on the body and bore a lesser nature than his always and devine nature. He took on the nature of his creation through humility. The bible doesn't teach that there was christ and there was God aside. It is when God took on that flesh and became separable from his spiritual being that we see this unfold. He took on that body to tabernacle among his people but also to use that blood of the flesh and a sacrificial item to buy back humanity.

Jesus is at the Right hand of the Father we see so many times from many writers and from Jesus himself telling us he is not on the throne but the Father is. Jesus is not omniscient and doesn't know the second coming like God does. Jesus tells us there is one greater than I, the Father. They are separate persons with separate roles in separate places for sure.

Christ is not equal to God. Jesus said there is one greater than I, the Father. Jesus said why do you call me good? there is only one who is good, the Father. We see many many times throughout the new testament Jesus is at the Father right hand and not on the throne but Father/God is on the throne. I can show you many many more.

Thanks for you comment. It allows us to make a clarification that we already covered in a previous video. The divinity of Christ is equal to the divinity of the Father. Christ is divine in the same way that the Father is divine. However, the humanity of Christ is not equal to the Father as only Christ placed Himself in humanity. The Godhead takes upon different roles in the plan of redemption (and we've already addressed some of those roles in a previous video). Thanks again for your comment.

I wouldn't say Christ is equal to God (the father) I would however say, Christ is equal to the God who presides over the nation of Israel (Michael) Unless God (the father) is Michael, then that would make Christ equal to him, because Michael and Christ are the same individual. Hebrews 1:1-6
