Yesterday as my Audio Request was shuffling through the Holiday genre, The Lord's Prayer came on and when I checked the screen on my computer, it was Il Divo. It was so beautiful and so moving, I went to YT to find it so I could send a link to my sister. That was when I happened upon these expressions of sympathy for Carlos Marin and it literally made my heart hurt. I did not know that he had died. There are no many unanswered questions surrounding ALL these deaths of previously healthy individuals who succumbed to what we are now finding out was not only curable, but by what means and protocols that were forbidden to be administered by medical professionals across the world. I will never again hear The Lord's Prayer performed by anyone that I don't think of this amazing and talented man who did not have to die as and when he did. It's not only sad, but criminal.

Watching the performance of this beautiful song brought to mind that Carlos would no longer be such an amazing part of this talented group of singers. It saddened me that he was taken away so young. The words of a former voice coach of his made it extra painful . “You will hear his voice for many years to come.” (May not be exactly as he said them but similar). Obviously Covid was not even a word at that time since it was said when he was a very young child. We had the wonderful gift of his voice for 15 very short years and then he was silenced but not completely. You will be forever missed Carlos.
