The Lore of【BLUE ARCHIVE】: Trinity and the Eden Treaty - PART I

After many, many nights of script writing, filming, and editing, I've finally completed the second episode of Lore Archive, which will cover the first half of the Eden Treaty! From the history of Trinity's founding to the exploits of the Make Up Work Club, we'll be looking into the events that led up to one of Kivotos' largest power struggles.
In this first Eden Treaty video, I'll be telling the tale of how Kivotos’ oldest schools succumbed to deception, and how a forgotten academy, a merciless tyrant, and an ordinary girl fought to rewrite Kivotos’ future.

I did enjoy this story in the order it was told in-game, as it added to the intrigue not actually knowing every character's motivations and past actions YET, as it built up the story more cleanly, but I really appreciate the work you did to put the events of the Eden Treaty in chronological order to help contextualize everyone's actions. In some ways, too, it makes Mika's plight especially heartbreaking now seeing what made her into the villain we see in the first half of the story (as it was told in-game), now, instead, knowing what she has been through. Again, as a Blue Archive lore junkie myself, in a way I'm kinda jealous of just how well constructed these documentaries have been! Amazing work, and can't wait to see how you finish off this story~

I'm so sorry for the late reply! My notifications always get a little out of wack after I post longer videos, but I'm finally getting caught up and looking through everyone's replies as best I can!! It really is heartbreaking to see Mika's plight when you look at all the events chronologically... she spends so much time trying to be true to her ideals and her descent into despair is that much more heart wrenching. She's one of my favorite characters in the game for the struggle that she undergoes, and everything she does to get out on the other side! Hearing that you think these are so well constructed is tremendously flattering... I try really hard to make these as understandable and seamless as possible, so I'm really glad that my efforts have paid off in some small way!!

At last I got the time to finish the video, and I have to say this almost 4 hrs video is TOTALLY worth it. I already read Eden Treaty in the game, but I never this emotionally invested before, your telling of the story just hit the spot, can't wait for part II ! P.S: Arius's history always breaks my heart man, the girls didn't deserve all that :(

I feel like there's so much wonderful depth in the Eden Treaty that can get a little lost in how the story is structured, so I wanted to tell things chronologically to explain how all the characters got to where they are now! 🙏

As someone who has read through the entire story up to this point I'm astonished by how wonderfully you put the story up to this point into its own experience; a comprehensive narrative that helps everyone understand the story better, let alone with a script you wrote by yourself? I felt like the authors did such a tremendous job with their worldbuilding, but because the game's story is almost entirely told from Sensei's perspective, the timing of events was a lot more muddled since you only find out history when the teacher does. I wanted to try and line everything out chronologically as best as possible, so I'm so glad to hear this was helpful!!

Just finished the entire 3 hours and 45 minutes of part 1. Your passion and love for blue archive, their characters, and the story that it's trying to tell was very apparent from the very start. Through your words and hard work, it makes it so much easier to understand and see the characters in the game as more than just sprites, stats, and L2D scenes. Watched a bit of the gameplay guide vid that you did (thanks for that!) but the Abydos lore video caught my eye and I figured "Eh, why not?" I've been wanting to go back and redo the story for a while now but never did, but this is the PERFECT medium for me to absorb the knowledge! Thank you for all your hard work! This video has turned out amazing! I love the way you rewrite the story and give it a personal touch! You did a great job in converting the visual novel type story from the game into a format more akin to an epic novel with an omniscient narrator. On that note I really enjoyed the character writing and how you went more indepth about their thoughts and feelings than the game does due to seeing everything from only senseis perspective. The video isn't just great for the story and writing though. I also love the presentation! You make great use of both visuals and music from the game! But maybe my favourite part is the overall vibe. To me it feels like you read for us from a story book. The way you talk gives off very calm and comfy vibes which makes it perfect to settle down to after a long and stressfull day. Finally i finished the video. I can't imagine how much work was putting the events in cronological order and scripting them to tell a compelling story but it's very appreciated, great video. The Eden Treaty is full of intrigue and twists, it's always nice to revisit it, will look foward to the second part.

Just finished watching since I stopped at like 4am today at somewhere before the 3-hour mark, haha. Anyway, yet another excellent video, just like the last one. There's something magical about getting to re-experience the game's story in this way, I tell you. Getting a snack and then turning my lights off, putting the video on fullscreen to enjoy your (genuinely wonderful) narration paired with the game's lovely soundtrack and CGs (Blue Archive is such a visually stunning game in all aspects, everything's so pleasant to look at), while reflecting on my own experience playing through this story for the first time back when it dropped. Without rambling any further, let's just say you made something special when you put out a 4-hour video and still leave your viewer wanting more. Needless to say, looking forward to Part 2, whenever that may be. Keep up the great work!

I'm so glad to hear that!! I definitely think that the sprawling narrative of the Eden Treaty made things more complicated to unravel, so trying to lay things out chronologically was the least I could do to try and make things more streamlined! 🙏
