Out of inrtest, you ever thoguht of doing lore comparison between RS & OSRS. Great vid as always!

That's a good idea! Will need to get it added to the drawing board and plan something!
@WH40KHero3 ай бұрын
@@Gravitybind Its quite similar actually. Obviously the quests play out somewhat differently, and the gods did not return in OSRS. Yet for most parts the background is quite identical.

I wonder how Araxxor is going to fit into the Nyalocas lore. Also I think there is going to a new Runescape book coming out soon that gives a bit more insights to the vampyres, the fall of Hallowvale and could talk more about the nyalocas. I think it should be Runescape 3 and OSRS compatible from the way Jagex was advertising it. I haven't finished Gift of Guthix, which focuses on the early days of the fifth age where runecrafting was starting to become more established but apart from some year-date inaccuracies, I guess you could chalk it up to the idea that the fifth age was not "concepted" yet compared to the fourth age during the events of the book, it doesn't seem to be too contradictory to the OSRS lore so far. Have you had the chance to read it?
@Gravitybind3 ай бұрын
It should be interesting! I haven't had a chance to read it yet, only recently bought it myself but looking forward to it. Will be nice to have a more expanded view on the fifth age - and the new book should be really good, I enjoy the Vampyre lore a lot. Something that intrigues me a lot is how Drakan went back to Vampyrium to hunt Xarpus, so I hope that'll be expanded on a little bit. (I don't have much knowledge on the RS3 storyline, but I think the player gets to go there at some point? Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong)
@RawCauliflower3 ай бұрын
@@Gravitybind I think you go into a castle in Vampyrium, you don't explore the surroundings as far as I aware. Xarpus is not in RS3, because in OSRS he is also an Easter egg reference to how the Vampyres look like in RS3 with their giant bat foreheads, but there is still a chance that he may get mentioned. The current look for Draken and the rest of the vyres represent their true form in OSRS.

I’m so happy to see lore videos on RuneScape man! I always thought that whoever started doing lore videos would have such a big channel! This was my first video of yours I’ve watched and immediately subscribed with notifications on as well! Man I’m hooked on all these lore videos and I hope you don’t give up if this is something you want to do! I’ll be here for you I’ve played this game since 2013 and love it just as much as I did back then!

There's an Easter egg where there's a party of NPC adventurers in high level gear who are going to tackle the theatre of blood. Unfortunately, their dismembered remains scattered throughout the various boss rooms show us they didn't make it.

You can say whatever you wish about Runescape. But one thing you can not say is that the lorewriters and questdesigners have any kind of restraint. They dare to go to the dark places where lesser storywriters would not ever tread, creating some of the most harrowing, gut wrenching stories ive ever had the pleasure to play through in a Videogame. This goes both for OSRS and RS3

Just binge watched all of your RS content. I knew the lore to this game was supposed to be good, but man you really made me regret space baring though all of my quests/not read the quest books. Keep up the great work, these are fascinating to listen to and really breath new life into the game for me!
