I'm glad I'm not the only one peeved by those ratings on the spines/covers. I had to fight myself on not buying True Romance again just to have an edition without it. I've thought about getting some of those oldschool genre stickers in a couple sizes just to make the ones I do have more palatable.

Thanks for another great video! A few observations: 1. I hate foreign ratings logos as well, and they should always be removable, on the shrinkwrap, j-card, etc. 2. I hate the new artwork for the US edition and Poltergeist, so those slips & sleeves went in the trash and were swapped for the blu sleeves. The OG art in black cases looks sharp. 3. The Zavvi packaging for this release makes me nervous for the upcoming Videodrome 4k. Hopefully it survives the journey undamaged.

My heart DROPPED when I opened up my copy and saw those stupid Age 15 labels. Then was immediately relieved when I realized they were stickers. Lol! I also thought of doing the same thing about the discs. Buying the US version to swap the discs out. 🤣🤣🤣 I agree about the box artwork too. Not my favorite. We think alike dude! Lol! I found an easy way to keep the wrapping on especially when has a slipcover. I'll open bottom usually with my finger then slide it out. I can do it without but sometimes they stick so gotta peel away anyway. That is really cook 4K are not Region Locked I gotta get a TV along with Player for that eventually. I'd rather have Near Dark on Blu Ray heh. Luckily most things I like are older so even 1080p is often grainy or has inserts below resolution. Then when get a set with extras on DVD like Scheme Factor did for StarCrash or don't upgrade them fully like Amazons Barbarian Queen. The Lost Boys I have soundtrack on CD for Echo and The Bunnymen People Are Strange song. I think I like that Version more Than Doors ;). Font don't fit Film.

I got mine the other day. Psyched to finally get it! Dude! Love all the new posters on display behind you! I have 3 out of the 4 with the Dave Merrell one being my favorite! I have to ask, who is the artist for the first poster all the way to the left with Sam leaning on the car? Looks awesome, gotta have it! Great review!

I watched the new scan of ‘lost boys’ on 4k on my 15 yr old 1080p Vizio TV and it looked perfect. I have no idea where all that blue came from. Maybe it’s just the overstating from the OLED tv. It’s a shame because it looks really good on most standard TV’s. 4k is a blessing and a curse. Why can’t we just have both cuts on one release? 🎃

I watched my copy last night and just...wow! Absolutely beautiful. And that end sequence in red, phenomenal. You're gonna be very pleased as a fellow Lost Boys fan!
