The Lost Elephant of Danish Design

After more than 80 years, a very special sofa and two chairs by renowned furniture architect Finn Juhl have resurfaced. In this video, our Head of Modern Design, Peter Kjelgaard, gives us the historical design backdrop and explains why these pieces of furniture are so special and valuable - also for him personally. The sofa alone, which is presented at the Live Auction in December 2020, has an estimate of DKK 1.5-2.5 million. The two chairs have an estimate of DKK 600,000-800,000.
