From past experience in video editing: Yes, if you actually do proper editing and don't just dump start-stop recordings the way Let's Players tend(ed?) to do, mathematically speaking, you basically have several (even many, depending on your editing style) minutes of work for every minute of run time.

Back when I still did it, I tried to at least make transitions between edits smooth, but it was essentially still just start and stop. I have since deleted all my old stuff. Mostly because I stopped caring.
