No,no,no. What makes it funny is that it's live action. A cartoon automatically suspends an enormous amount of disbelief. It's way funnier to imagine this thing happening in reality because of the absurdity of it.

These sketches were such an effective satire of the "hardbody" gym culture of the late 80s. Like many Conan fans, I was a fan of these Carvey/Nealon performances long before I knew of the writing influence. This whole episode underscores the need for more support and equity for writers!

As a kid growing up in the late 80s early 90s i have to say this is such a great thing to watch. All the men at this table had a huge part of giving me the lasting joy of comedy and i think getting the movie in this form is the best way we could have had it.
