This game is actually more terrifying than Phasmophobia, the way the ghosts hunt you down, the ghosts could crawling on the ceiling and staring at you through the window, that is really terrifying.

Not really. Yeah, the ghost doing more is kinda cool & increased aggression makes sense since you're attempting an exorcism but it's also less scary in some ways since you can fight back

My own tier for them: Not that scary- ghost hunters corp Kinda scary- phasmophobia Scary- demonologist They are scary if you actually try to put yourself in the game. But if you're playing as a player only, then it'll not be scary.

So you wanted Phasmophobia to not be itself? These are clearly separate games with different goals Phasmophobia is more focused on the horror, IMO, whereas this is allowing the player to complete the process & perform the exorcism. It's much more direct than Phasmophobia is & there's also less suspense since the ghost goes berserk pretty quick

here's a horror game you might like Fooster it's called DON'T SCREAM you as the player need to spend 18 hours in the woods without screaming the moment you start moving that's when the clock starts counting down and if you scream at anytime before the 18 hours are up you have to start the game all over the game is based on the lost footage horror genre
