It's like a time machine. I love the idea of releasing old content that was forgotten. It's kinda like going through a personal library and finding a book no one ever got to read and exposing it to the light. Or like an archive.

McFarlane made really good pieces for the time. too bad they couldn't have more articulation and they could be on par with neca predators

I don't know why but McFarlane's toys always look a bit messy/muddy in some way.

It's the paint jobs coupled with occasional poor molding. If you compare the McFarlane predators with their NECA counterparts you'll notice that the McFarlane toys use similar browns/greys on the figure and any highlights or speckles are more like blotches. The NECA toys have very defined highlights, striping and speckles and the colours have a much broader palate and are slightly less matte. But, remember that their is at least a decade between the releases of the two products, often more. McFarlane were the best at what they did for the time.

i have this playset, and i have to say it is a really disappointment one, the predator sculpt is awful and the paint job too, the only good playset of this series is the Alien Queen, i have it too.
