Fascinating stuff. The map overlays make it much easier to place things that we only see as random shots in other videos/photographs. I particularly like how the fishpond has become a separate pond again!

That beautiful curved rooftop building should be taken down and rebuilt somewhere as a memory of Derwent. And those old Ordinance Survey maps made by the British existed long before Google maps did.

Yeah, that building has stood up really well over all the years. It's an old valve house used to divert water from the Howden and Derwent dams. Ladybower has similar buildings towards the viaduct. Love the OS maps old and new. A lot of graft was put in back in the day to create those.
