A mining ship goes missing... Its precious cargo could change the galaxy... Unless one man and his crew can find the lost Voyager. Carson Mach, a freelance rogue captain, and his crew are faced with a seemingly routine mission to find and rescue the Voyager, a missing mining ship in a remote system. Only he and his employers know what the lost ship carries in its cargo hold and the devastating consequences if it falls into the wrong hands. On arrival to the Noven system, the destination of the Voyager, Mach and his crew have two planets to explore, with no clues as to where the ship and its artefact might be. Their first stop reveals a terrifying new enemy has joined the search, raising the stakes considerably. If the new threat finds the cargo, it will place the entire galaxy in a perilous position from which it won’t recover. Mach and his crew must overcome impossible odds and defeat the new enemy if they’re to reach the Voyager and save the lives of trillions. All Carson Mach stories are standalone adventures and can be read in any order.

Don't you hate lost cargo ships, without apparently it's transponder? What's that about? Author's device, obviously? LoL 😆

I was listening to this audiobook. My wife asked me, "Is the audiobook okay.?" I replied, I responded, "Kayla, this audiobook is pretty damn far from okay." I thought, "How was Mach and his crew overcome impossible odds and defeat the new enemy?"

Beginning by saying how the Captain hadn't been trained for dealing with emergency landings? Why is she Captain?

1:00:10, did the narrator add an extra syllable to the word oriented or was it written that way by the author?

Orientated is typically used in British English. In American English we use oriented.

Why does everyone have to complain about a few mis pronunciations? Id like to hear YOU do better. I love the series and I love the narrator🎉

They're just a bunch of frustrated wannabe writers, it's unfortunate they find a need to criticize instead of just enjoy the story these authors put up here for us to enjoy at no cost. If you don't like the book, turn it off and move on nobody's asking for their opinion.

"Spine-dly" legs? Perhaps simply a mispronounciation. A "reticule" is old French for purse. The "reticle" is the fine registration lines in a telescope or other optical device.

The word is spindly; it refers to a sewing spindle.

I hear a lot of this type of error, I've given up correcting. It seems orators these days care less about what they are ACTUALLY saying. I would say that if the speaker wants attention from a listener then the listener deserves correct speech. Say what is meant and NEVER EVER use words not understood.

@@Sector14b I agree and I just recently found out that it's common to have A.I read the books. I'm not joking but it definitely takes away from the story

Congratulations. You, sir have succeeded at creating several indifferently unrelatable characters. Not a single person is likeable or interesting. Even your villains are horrible. They are not smart, not driven, not evil, they are simply present. I missed a few 15 minute chunks of the story while working, and had zero compulsion to rewind.
