No Lex helps. MC wrote better characters in this book in my opinion. Harding and Thorn were great. Kids weren't annoying. Just wish Malcolm had more to do.

@anthonynorris2104 I mean he gets the story going and helps out a bit on the island... I think Michael Crichton didn't have anything else for him except from his knowledge from the other island he doesn't have much to do.

Thank you soo much :) Great novel - really enjoyed this one. the actor reading it is brilliant - he delineates every character, reads happenings differently depending on what’s going on. he’s just really good. i love, particularly his characterizations of the kids - they sound like kids and i know each one by their voices. an acting exercise - say “rain” 10 different ways. it’s fascinating. 🌷🌱

Damn...I thought the death Dodgeson had in Dominion from the dilo pack was brutal. Haven't watched the full movie, just clips, but this mental image of hatchling T. rexs eating him alive is both horrifying and satisfying :) Serves him right for trying to steal dino eggs, getting others killed, and having absolutely no fear. As Ellie Sattler said to young Cabot Finch in the Jurassic World Evolution dlc Return to Jurassic Park- "Any animal without fear won't be around long." Same goes for people, especially arrogant, narcissistic people.

I have not found my place in this universe. Rest in peace Michael, you were voice of oppressed and dreamers just to visit that Kauai. But you can never everb be in rest because they opposed your idea of freedom and made your lost word or originally Jurassic park into something that us global and self individual, also self-esteem suicidal just because like drop of rain merging with ocran can not be the same is way how our ideas, novels and the most sadly humans can not prevail. Your park has grown into world and that into fallen kingdom, of one sonabominable and blasphemous I would not utter his name here and finally went into an dominion of evildoers, it was suicide for your message that we should stay solely ourselves, free and independent but tide of changes after crisis imensely started to impose imposible conditioning whether to chaget die. If dinosaurs went with their decency not throwing down to oppressors then long hail to them and evrlasting life in heaven for animala were all our pets beloved has gone, if they deed of creator if God they did not meant to perish by some fire rock from above they had to go because they never and ever succumb to others and that was us who got on their place while they as honoraby as they lived got to rapture away and their remains should have been still intact but evil does not have respect even for them not here among us. They modify them and make abhorrent atrocities antithesis to what we know so use them for evil intentions God removed them through their strengths to never submit but evil ones never gave them rest easy, so they must be still cobrained in the garden od heavens were they live free and roam bravely like greatest ever creations that lived.

I love you mother you are great of the greatest mothers. Can not tell you how much more than words even from mouth uttered and replaced but this writer can depict it, because it is beyond understanding of emotions and ability to speak. It seems sarcastic I replace you for fictional character animal that has took care of hers cuffs, but it is that you drove me close to the love of dinosaurs, O loved them before but after resenting me that comic of lostali word it became evendor stronger our mutual love you are always as brightest sun in my mind. Ironically their world is lost as ours has to become and I love you so much more than that, much more than explanation may bring it close to unveil. We never could really be happy and joyous their kingdom shook once by calamity never and ever could be the same again, they revived them bought them and mase of it an reservate but still could not sustain them, they are creations of God and therefore nobody have right on them as on us and upon ourselves we are free and our beloved creatorn let us find our way of life we are not body vessels of flesh, blood, entrails, skin and bones we are much.more than that. We are living souls and images of God If Allmighty didnot have a plan he removed them from.this reakm and how humans dare to pledge their own right on Lords creation to not even giving them.to rest easy but replying them into souless copies of once true originals, they never left them at ease bit still digging their graces and usurping them, therfore whole thing went againstead humans and mocking them. Park.is just an park can not be world, world can not be in stare.of fallen kingdom if it is wholeheartedly in mercy of God and it can not be anybody's dominion because thy kingdom shall come , because you rule over us giving us free will, free thought and free love that is unconditional... I love you mother and forever will do not let evil doers erase put individuals in their.prison without bars digital international net of things and bodies aspiring toward our solemn souls. Never ever give them.to win and cherish.l over us in dominion they call demonocracy it is only belong to our beloved after in heavens that lead ua through perils, trials and tribulations to set us again free and in love as we should.of have been always sincentre conception of universe.

The Radio crackled... Mother I still love you from now to eternity whenever and wherever you are sick and tired or happy and joyous. Crichton will never ever write books like that ones again but in paradise story ends differently dinosaurs are alive and not modified substituted and replaced they are just undergone rapture and left us to rule on our own up there we are all together like in real eternal park of kingdom that has not fallen but will thy come and restore everything and everyone wronged here, to hell will go they who made mockery of it, there is special place for them which would rather to embrace artificial instead or heavens given origin.

59:16 this is totally ridiculous! “Have you ever seen a self-esteem?” he’s talking about science and observation. i don’t know Dr. Crichton, have you ever “seen” one of the many equations physics is based on? Have you ever seen a memory, a smell, an idea that pops into your head? No, you haven’t. this scientific philosophy doesn’t work, sir. - a psychology person who is kinda p.o’d. (New York) 😼

It’s a misunderstanding of concepts, as explained by Ayn Rand in Introduction To Objectivist Epistemology. In this book, Crichton sees the difference between rationalists and empiricists, but he doesn’t understand it.

Have not listened this instead have been listening complete both novels read by William ando not George, this one is much more like fairy tail voice and could help you to sleep better. Whatsoever it is not point of story. Real idea us terrible. Eventhough this excerpt from novel and complete version with also complete previous part held some narrative thst is beyond out regular comprehension and that is sum of literal deeds it is subliminal messaging to us that since is : " intrusive". People doing this research and also responsible to bring this eloquent skilled writer idea or in other words scientists are out of any moral obligation to help us live better at all already set pathway of pressurise progress. They do not really care about us! All they worry about is to find it possible to achieve, lucrative foremost for them and to be passed into our hectic reality with regulations and rules politicians corrupted to the essence will vote it and set as something impprtant to be voted for and voted in suchlike case to be elected as desirable invention. They do not care about damage they brought upon us with intrusions into inside of our cells and extracting materials of genes and also even less about suffering that they might possibly break lose on us with unethical experimentation, bringing to life abomination of desolation itself. Technological utopia in bio bodies is brutal and do not deserve after pandemic modified seeds, crops and products altogether with animal livestock changing structure of body is not allowed for freedom future it is rather cataclysm. Characters are great just too much extra sensible since severly introduced to alienated island that is still part of our world but with organism that should not be there, that does not exsit and are artificial by any mean since only fossils remain and none ancestor to splice with and redempt them from oblivion through insemination and throughout miracle of birth. These are dead animals walking or in other term undead neither live nor dead, among those people stuck in same place with them surviving their cimplementation alienation ando artificiality they met there, it is terrific shock to find out something extinct to be alive though it is great to hear, see and testify again ot does not happens in ordinary life almost never and if it ever takes place there is no doubt how it affects you. While here is opposite undead creatures being spliced with genes and other species they share gene lineage even using their body vessel and own eggs to delIver them in reality, and that is strange. Although maybe they have had the best intentions we can not trust them that maybe this creatures raised from ashes to ashes and dust to dust are not carriers of diseases also engineered to affect humans, so that nobody would be able to kill them, steal them, take souvenir of their bodies and metabolism products, since they are guarded in secrecy, protected on desolate island, held on it contained by electrical fences of ten thousand volts and giant barbwires, they are meaningful or their creators and respective owner to be left roaming around without custody and overseeing. It is great trick to trully alure reader with addition of unknown factor that causes fear and therefore makes it quite a bit horror genre, with what if something happens unprecedented like it did not by human cause but because of inperfection of our reason to foresee it is enough the slightest thing to et out of control and triger chaos as in theory that they were warned whole storyline. Can not say wether genetic monsters wouldo be aroused by human scent, flesh and blood since they never ever confronted mamal in their entire existence instead using us for nutrition they use their kind even same sort of their own praticin canibalism and eating plants just as our nowadays animals do and also with exceptional turn some humans not being completely transformed into mega markers customers to consume from shelves only products and never ever actually searching for food in nature. Monsters would not maybe even notice us and mean for us as sucheck as important participants of theirs flora and fauna. Not only that it is perfectionist dream to return to life dinosaurs which is impossible but also their defilement with genes of other donnors wether genes, blood, body parts or whole body could much more than possibly distinct them from native fellows that have had fed in nature, grow in nature and be born in it too making them authentical of true origin. Monstrosities we recreated may not live full life span, would be succeptible to new diseases and since in the process of creation were appointed by gene cstration to be only femalein order to prevent uncontrollable reproduction with accidental male they would naturally met is something that makes them insufficient to even be considered for match substitutes. They are pale copy that is fainting in comparison with original and even that we can not prove sincentre there are no any to be found since their entire specie and subspecies gone in extinction. We still got that encouragement of going straight into adventure, with flashlight and weapons loaded and steady to fire, but not enough when they meet requirements of such tropical paradise that in an instant turns into breathing terror of hell, in case of you are being eaten, hunted and slaughtered by monster replicas, it is so comprehensively described thathe it makes him Michael Crichton to stand out of common writing stule, his lavish descriptions make your skin crawls and hair raise on arms with goosebumps down the spine or upward dependng on position you take while reading or listening book or books like in this case. Realism is surreal while walking with his descriptions make you like you walk with dinosaurs, especially is noticeable that dark tone of our fragility, vulnerability, incompatibility with abominations from laboratory for editing God given gene material that is schematics for creating life as we know it. Writer cross that thin tangible line of rational and get over to ingenuity because it takes that much more or less to separate genius from us average comrades. That quality with a solid quantity makes it serious literal fiction book, but also book that trapshe human imagination, the deepest feas and doubts with whirlpool of questions we since beginning of our existence wanted to answer ando also bring some clarity on this chemical, mechanical, physical, dimensional, cognitive process of life and its living of it... Dinosaurs should remain were they areally if we want them we have to pay them visit and invent machine for traveling into past or let natures forces to eradicate us in order to return them back like by saying what hoes around comes around, but coexistence with them in overpopulated realm of ourselves even if they are isolated on some remote, distanced, and desolate land that does not makes us safe from interference with our species rest of mstory we all know since it is storyline of this book.
